The instep is a bit tight for me to get them on (not unusual for my feet, but still I think most people would find them very snug) but once on they are quite comfortable and are definitely not slipping loose. I would have given them 0 stars, but Amazon forces you to give at least one.

I brought a pair of these shoes while in the States three years ago. They are simply the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The memory cushion inner provides support and impact resistance either with or without socks.After three years of constant wear during evenings and week ends both on and off boats the only sign of wear was to the inner lining. I would recommend them to anyone.

The shoe product is very nice and comfortable on my feet. I was able to get a 13W, which is not easy in many styles. However, the "oak" color description is not accurate. The color shipped to me was not as seen in the description, it was much lighter. I still liked the shoe but I rated it a 3 due to the color discrepancy.

Customer Review: Great casual shoe, well made and comforatable
I've bought the Sebago Schooner before, but this is the first time from Amazon. They're a staple in my wardrobe, comfortable, able to dress up with khakis or go casual with jeans. I've tried other brands of boat shoes, but I've never found any others as good for daily wear. It used to be there were just a few different versions of the Schooner; like many successful products, there are now too many choices. I got the standard brown like I always have (save once) and am very satisfied.

I bought the navy blue ones and I have had them for 2 weeks now and they are great best slip on show I have ever owned. The only issue with them is the sizing they do not fit true to tennis shoe size. I wear 10.5 size tennis shoe and had to order 8.5. Just be very careful when ordering your size. Had to return the shoes a couple of times to get the right size. Service was the best I could ever expect.

The instep is a bit tight for me to get them on (not unusual for my feet, but still I think most people would find them very snug) but once on they are quite comfortable and are definitely not slipping loose.
